My Morning Prayer

steal away the shame that has robbed my vision

secure my feet on solid ground and turn my eyes to you

fix them on your face and find in me fruit sweet and shared

strengthen me from the inside out

satisfy me with your spirit of truth as I allow it to take its place in the depths of me and drive me that by my words and my actions I speak the name of Jesus over every heart and every mind

because I know there is peace within your presence and power within your promises
